The Lunchbox is the School's canteen and is open every school day.
If you need to cancel an order, you will need to do so by 2.30pm on the day of the order to receive a refund. Orders cannot be cancelled and refunded after this time.
Our Canteen provides easy ordering through the My School Connect online system. You can also place cash orders by sending a paper bag clearly marked with your child's name, class, and food order.
To begin using My School Connect, please follow these setup instructions or visit myschoolconnect.com.au and click "Join Today." Once you register, you'll receive an email with more details and can start placing orders immediately. The online menu prices are the same as the regular Canteen menu, although there is a 20-cent fee per online order for operational costs. For mobile ordering, a convenient app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
Secondary students who are registered and have a Student ID card can use it to make purchases directly at the counter during Long and Short Breaks. For help with linking your Student ID card to My School Connect, please refer to these linking instructions. If you need further assistance, contact the My School Connect Support team.
If you have dietary concerns or specific requests, the Canteen Coordinator is happy to assist. Please feel free to contact the Canteen directly.
Students who forget their lunch can get an emergency lunch pack from the Canteen. These requests will need to be authorised by their teacher or year patron, and students will be given the choice of a cheese and vegemite or a cheese and bacon scroll and a piece of fruit at a cost of $6.00. Students can also pick up a short break option of a Choc Chip Muffin for an additional $3.00. An email will be sent to parents to notify you and advise of payment due. Payments for emergency lunches will be accepted via My School Connect only. Parents who do not have access to the My School Connect system should contact the school to arrange payment.
In either the My School Connect App or on a Desktop select "Order Food", and select the student who has the IOU owing. The IOU payment tab is the last selection on this screen. Once the IOU is selected, click "Confirm Order" at the top right of the next screen.
The Iona Cafe is for staff and senior students in Years 11 and 12.
The Iona Cafe has created the opportunity for senior students to have a ‘time out’, an effective study location and a reflective area that can be used for mentor meetings or a catch-up with friends. It also gives staff a convenient place to grab a coffee without leaving campus, while encouraging connection between faculties in a relaxed setting. The café is open from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing students to grab a nutritious breakfast if they're in a rush, or enabling parents to get their morning coffee after school drop-off.
